DIgital transmutation
My artistic journey began with sculpture and painting, eventually leading to the precision of scientific illustration. Photography became the natural extension of my exploration of light and shadow, a medium where I mastered monochrome effortlessly but grappled with colour.
Through trial and error, I came up with numerous post-production techniques that imitate the process of painting more than digital image editing. This journey might not have a final destination and will continue going on, but even in it’s current state it is truly liberating, allowing me to experiment and have fun. Each piece is a fusion of my past and present, transforming the digital into something transcendent.
